The 5 adventure dives
During the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, we will do 5 dives together. There are 2 mandatory dives and 3 additional adventure dives where you can choose.
The mandatory program
Adventure Dive Navigation: Here you will learn how to navigate underwater using a compass and natural landmarks. You will independently dive and navigate on your own, under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.
Adventure Dive: Deep Diving: After completing your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, you are certified to dive to depths of up to 30 meters. Therefore, during the deep dive, you will learn how to plan such dives and what you need to pay special attention to. Your instructor will playfully demonstrate the changes in depth and accompany you on your first deep dive.
Which dives can you choose yourself?

Perfect Buoyancy Control: Through playful exercises, your PADI instructor will help you feel more comfortable underwater and achieve better buoyancy and trim. In our opinion, this is one of the best adventure dives you can do!

Wreck diving: This adventure dive is an absolute highlight here in Cyprus! Besides the world-famous Zenobia, we also have several smaller wrecks like the Nemesis. We'll dive a wreck together, according to your wishes, and show you the fascination of wreck diving!

NITROX: Experience a dive with enriched air and discover the benefits, such as reduced fatigue, shorter no-decompression limits, and simply greater safety, as you inhale less nitrogen. This course combines perfectly with our PADI NITROX course. This gives you an additional PADI Specialty certification and allows you to dive with NITROX in the future (mandatory at Zenobia).

Night diving: The underwater world looks completely different at night! Often even more colorful than during the day – you'll learn why on this dive!

Fish Identification: Learn more about the fascinating underwater world of Cyprus. On this dive, you'll play "underwater bingo"! We'll search for specific animals underwater, and you'll identify them using an underwater slade.

Photography & Video: A dive primarily focused on operating underwater cameras or GoPros. Your dive instructor will also show you some tips and tricks.

Scooter diving: A dive that's incredibly fun! When diving with scooters, you'll discover completely different dive sites! Zoom through the water, do loops, and experience the feeling of flying. All without any effort! (Small surcharge for scooter rental)

Dive Against Debris: As divers, it's also our responsibility to protect the ocean. With Dive Against Debris, we go out together and collect marine debris. This is then analyzed and entered into the PADI AWARE database.

Rescue: The next step after your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification is usually the PADI Rescue Diver course. However, you already have the opportunity to gain initial experience with this important course during the Advanced course!

Theory: You can complete the entire PADI Advanced Open Water Diver theory course from the comfort of your own home using PADI eLearning. Once we've confirmed your booking, you'll receive access to the eLearning platform. There you'll find information not only about your selected adventure dives but about all available dives.

Preparation: Before your PADI Advanced course, we definitely recommend doing a fun dive with us. This way you'll be ready for the course and have gotten used to diving again.

Course: Spread over 2 or sometimes 3 days, we will conduct a total of 5 dives. All dives are generally from shore. Only the wreck dives will be by boat.
