Why we love this spot
Several dives are possible at Cyclops Cave. There's the right side, which is somewhat shallower and where you might encounter sea turtles. On the left side, the water gradually gets deeper. This is where we usually do dives 3 and 4 of the PADI Open Water Diver course, as well as sidemount and deep diving courses.
The number and size of the trumpetfish here are remarkable. Having migrated from the Red Sea via the Suez Canal, they have become an integral part of the underwater world off Cyprus.
Crew Tip!
This dive site is perfect for sidemount diving and underwater scooters. There's so much to explore! Daniel, for example, loves diving far to the left, where a steep wall drops into the water and the deep ski slope begins right below. Also perfect for technical dives.
