🏝️ Destination: Dhangethi – Authentic, Relaxed, Paradise
Dhangethi is a charming local island in the South Ari Atoll. White sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and a laid-back atmosphere make it an ideal base for divers and anyone seeking a true island experience.
November marks the transition into the dry season in the Maldives, typically bringing stable weather conditions, plenty of sunshine, and pleasant air temperatures of around 28–30°C (82–86°F). Water temperatures remain consistently warm at approximately 28–29°C (82–84°F) — perfect for long, relaxed dives.
🛖 Accommodation
You will spend 14 nights in an apartment at the guesthouse Atoll Residence (offered in close cooperation with the dive centre).
The location couldn’t be better: just steps from the beach, surrounded by the easygoing rhythm of island life, small cafés, friendly locals, and plenty of space for relaxed evenings together as a group.

Tank and weights included
Boat transfers to dive sites
Supervision by experienced local guides
Prime location: Most dive sites are reached within short boat rides.

✔ With some luck, encounters with whale sharks or manta rays
✔ Colorful coral formations, thilas (pinnacles), and channels
✔ Wrecks and diverse reef structures
Bonus: Visibility is typically excellent, offering ideal conditions for stunning underwater photography.
📋 Participation & Requirements
There are no special athletic requirements for this trip, apart from holding a valid Open Water Diver (OWD) certification.
