Background to the special program "Up and Away – Around the Mediterranean"
We, Daniel and Tamara, made the big move from Switzerland to Cyprus in 2018. Our goal: to turn our passion for the sea in Protaras into our profession. After two intensive years as diving instructors, we made our dream come true and founded the Cyprus Diving Centre – today the first address for German-speaking diving education on the island.
We are especially proud of the year 2025: Daniel’s cousin, Joel Keller, came to Cyprus to complete his training as a PADI diving instructor. SRF accompanied us on this adventure. In the special program “Up and Away – Around the Mediterranean” you can experience how we manage our everyday life between the underwater world and life on the island.
