Eigenschaften

The white-spotted pufferfish is a small but striking inhabitant of the Mediterranean. It usually stays in sandy or lightly overgrown areas and is easily recognizable by its spots. When in danger, it can inflate its body with water, making it larger and harder to eat. Its organs contain a powerful neurotoxin that protects it from predators.
