Why we love this spot
The Caves are definitely among our favorite dive sites. Not only because of the several cool caverns you can swim through and the seahorses that are almost always present, but also simply because of the underwater atmosphere. A definite highlight is the exit: At high tide and if you're feeling well, you can dive into a small cavern and then exit through a hole at the surface! Of course, you can also simply get out of the water via the shore.
By the way: We always refer to them as "caves" – but that's not entirely accurate, as they are actually caverns and simple swim-throughs. The difference is that no daylight penetrates caverns and there's no direct way to ascend. Caverns and swim-throughs, however, do.
Crew Tip!
Most divers dive on the right side near the caves, but the left side is also absolutely worth seeing. If you know where to look, seahorse sightings are 95% guaranteed.
