๐ข HIGHLIGHTS
Small caves, seahorses, light effects
The Caves are definitely one of our favourite dive sites. Not only because of the several cool caves you can swim through (caverns) and the seahorses that are almost always found here, but also because of the overall atmosphere underwater. A real highlight is the exit: at high tide and with good conditions, you can enter a small cavern and exit through a hole at the surface! Of course, you can also simply exit the water normally from the shore.
By the way: we always refer to them as โcavesโ, but this is not entirely correct, as they are actually caverns and simple swim-throughs. The difference is that in caves there is no natural daylight and no direct exit to the surface. In caverns and swim-throughs, however, daylight is still visible and an exit is always within reach.
Most divers dive on the right side near the caves, but the left side is also absolutely worth seeing. If you know where to look, seahorse sightings are 95% guaranteed.
