Course Overview
In the PADI Equipment Specialist course, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the design, function, and maintenance of your dive equipment. You will learn how to properly set up, care for, and carry out minor repairs on your gear.
This course is theory-based (no diving required) and is conducted by an experienced PADI Instructor.
What you will learn in the course
Better Understanding: Gain knowledge of the design and function of complete dive equipment, as well as the differences between various types of gear and configurations.
Equipment Care and Repairs: Learn the proper care and maintenance of regulators, BCDs, masks, and fins, as well as basic repairs and troubleshooting.

Personal Advice: Receive tips on optimally fitting your personal equipment, as well as recommendations for purchasing and upgrading gear.
