Vanikoro Bigeye

The Vanikoro sweeper is a nocturnal schooling fish that frequently hides in caves, crevices, or under rocky overhangs during the day. Especially striking are its large eyes, which help it orient itself in low light. It only leaves its hiding places at dusk to actively search for food.
