PREPARATION

After booking, you'll receive access to a short PADI eLearning course. You can create your own account and start preparing for your introductory dive. The theory section only takes about 20 minutes, and the necessary knowledge is presented in a varied way using short videos, text passages, and quizzes. You can also complete the forms online, saving you the paperwork.

MEETING POINT

We start at our dive center in Pernera. There is ample parking on the street, and a bus stop is a 2-minute walk away. We are also happy to pick you up in the Paralimni, Protaras, and Agia Napa area directly from your hotel reception and drive you to the dive center.

GREETING

On site, you'll first meet your dive instructor and we'll show you around the dive center. Then we'll sit in the lounge and go over the online forms. Of course, we'll also provide you with something to drink (no alcohol).

THEORY

Now your diving instructor will discuss the theory with you and answer all your questions. This includes, among other things:

...how pressure equalization works,

...what equipment you need for diving,

...how we move underwater,

...how we protect the underwater world and why.

EQUIPMENT

Once all your questions are answered, we'll put together the right equipment for you. We have a wide selection of sizes and plenty of space for you to change. As soon as everything fits, we'll load the equipment onto our vehicle and drive to the dive site.

SHALLOW WATER

Once we arrive at the dive site, we'll help you put on your equipment and head straight into the sea. At first, we'll stay exclusively in shallow water. This allows us to gradually get you used to breathing underwater. We're happy to take our time with this, as your comfort is very important to us.

DIVE

As soon as you give us the OK signal, we'll slowly dive out of the bay. The bay slopes very gently, allowing us to descend gradually along the bottom. Reaching a certain depth isn't mandatory. Of course, you can give us a STOP signal at any time, meaning you don't want to go any deeper. Even on a shallow dive, there's plenty to discover, and you have a chance to see turtles. If you're feeling comfortable, we'll dive to a maximum depth of ten meters, where there are some statues that make for perfect photo opportunities. Afterward, we'll slowly dive back into the bay.

DIPLOMA

Back at the dive center, we'll sit down together and talk about your experience. If you're interested, you can also purchase photos or a video of your first dive. After diving, you can also take a shower or grab a bite to eat or a drink at our neighboring restaurant, "Tipsy Turtle."
