Behind the Cyprus Diving Centre are Daniel and Tamara, who run the dive center with passion and Swiss precision. As an expat couple, we've realized our dream of making the Mediterranean our home and sharing Cyprus's breathtaking underwater world with divers like you. We place great emphasis on safety, quality, and a personal atmosphere. With us, you're not just a customer, but part of our diving family.

Green Fins is a proven conservation management approach – implemented internationally by the Reef-World Foundation and the UN Environment Programme – that leads to a measurable reduction in the negative environmental impacts associated with marine tourism. It aims to protect coral reefs through environmentally friendly guidelines that promote sustainable diving and snorkeling.
Green Fins encourages and empowers divers, snorkelers and the diving industry to reduce pressure on coral reefs by offering marine tourism businesses practical, cost-effective alternatives to harmful practices such as anchoring, fish feeding and chemical pollution.

Daniel
Daniel discovered his passion for diving here in Cyprus at the age of 19. Since 2020, when he took over the Cyprus Diving Centre together with Tamara, he has dedicated himself primarily to professional diving training.
As an experienced PADI Staff Instructor and accomplished technical diver, he is dedicated to training the diving professionals of tomorrow.
His commitment to the underwater world is also evident in his role as initiator of the Xenios marine conservation project. By spring 2026, he is pursuing his next big goal: to achieve the highest PADI training level and become a PADI Course Director.

Tamara
Tamara shares Daniel's passion for the underwater world and opened the Cyprus Diving Centre with him in 2020. She has been diving passionately since she was 26 and is an experienced PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT).
As an MSDT, she loves accompanying people on their journey to discover the fascination of diving and develop further. Technical diving is a personal passion and hobby for her. In addition to her work in the water, Tamara is responsible for everything visual at the Cyprus Diving Centre: She oversees all design, layout, and the dive shop.

Ramin
Ramin is the manager of the Cyprus Diving Centre and embodies the typical, relaxed diver type. He gained most of his experience as a diving instructor in Mexico, where he has built up incredible knowledge through countless dives.
With his calm and extremely patient manner, he not only always has an overview as an experienced diving instructor, but also organizes all diving trips with passion.
Ramin loves to travel the world, but the underwater world is his greatest passion – one in which, thanks to his experience, he always finds the right place for everyone.

Ben
Ben began his career with us in 2024 by completing his Divemaster course and then his internship. After this intensive period, he moved to Honduras, where he successfully completed his PADI IDC over the winter. He's back with the team for the 2025 season as a fully-fledged PADI Instructor and passionate Tec Diver.
Thanks to his exceptional theoretical knowledge, his patience, and his infectious enthusiasm for diving, Ben is a popular contact for our diving students.

Mi-Sin
Mi-Sin joined our team in 2025. As an experienced dive instructor, she was already familiar with Cyprus and many of its most beautiful dive sites – and since then, she has been a valuable addition to our team in every way. She gained extensive experience over three years in Lombok, teaching and diving under challenging conditions.

When instructing, Mi-Sin loves to watch her students grow step by step and to bring out the best in each of them. Her passion for diving is palpable and truly contagious.

Jan
Whether in the air or underwater – Jan feels at home everywhere. His passion for diving began with a "Zero to Hero" journey: After having previously visited us as a guest, he completed his Divemaster and Instructor course with us in 2025.
Jan impresses with his dedication, motivation, and joy in helping others. His enthusiasm for diving and his positive attitude enrich our team, and we are delighted to have him on board again next season.

Mary
Maria is originally from Sweden, but made Cyprus her home many years ago. She completed her PADI Divemaster course with us in 2021. Maria now works as a successful freelancer on the island.
With her incredible eye for the small details underwater, she never ceases to amaze and also has a great passion for environmental protection: Maria is heavily involved in local beach clean-ups.

Shop and service
workshop
In our workshop, we can perform a basic or complete service on your regulator. We recommend that anyone who hasn't used their regulator for an extended period have it checked by us before diving. Daniel is a licensed APEKS and Aqualung service technician and places great emphasis on professional and meticulous service to the highest standards.
