Bubblemaker course
The PADI Bubblemaker (introductory scuba diving) program is designed for children aged 8 and up. It's fun, easy, and safe. Children should be comfortable in the water but don't need to be excellent swimmers, as the maximum depth is only 2 meters. Under close supervision, children will dive around in shallow water with scuba gear – purely for fun (maximum depth two meters). No prior experience is necessary. Equipment specifically designed for children is used – not for adults.
Ages 10 and up
Introductory scuba diving
Children aged 10 and up can participate in a trial dive in the sea. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the underwater world and get a taste of diving. Children should feel comfortable in the water, but don't necessarily need to be strong swimmers. You can find more information about trial dives here.

Ages 10 and up
Junior Open Water Diver
The PADI Junior Open Water Diver course is exactly the same as the regular PADI Open Water Diver course. The only difference is the maximum depth limit of 12 meters for children aged 10-12 years.
Upon completion of the training, children receive a PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification, which allows them to dive with a dive instructor or a parent or guardian. Upon reaching the age of 15, the Junior Open Water Diver certification automatically becomes a full Open Water Diver certification.
You can find more information about the Open Water Diver course here.

Further information
We offer our courses in German, English, and French. We place great importance on your comfort, as we know it's a big step. Therefore, we always keep our groups as small as possible so we can dedicate enough time to each individual student.
How do I get to you?
Transportation from your hotel in the Pernera, Protaras, and Agia Napa region is included. We will pick you up directly from the reception or your holiday apartment and, of course, bring you back again. Of course, you are also welcome to travel independently.
Do I need my own equipment?
No. You don't need your own equipment for this course. We have everything on site. However, if you have your own mask, you're welcome to bring it. In that case, we'll check whether it's a diving or snorkeling mask (yes, there are significant differences). Otherwise, we provide everything you need for your diving adventure in Cyprus: top-quality equipment that is regularly serviced.
Are we diving from the boat or from the shore?
We are incredibly fortunate here in Cyprus to have fantastic dive sites right off the shore. One of the most famous is Green Bay in Protaras, which is just a few minutes away. Here we have a natural pool with no waves or currents and a shallow depth. It's the perfect place to practice our skills and descend slowly and comfortably from the shore. This allows you to gradually get used to breathing underwater. So we don't have to jump from a boat into the deep blue and then let ourselves sink.
Why do I actually need a diving license?
You can dive without a license. This is called a Discover Scuba Diving experience , which you can do as often as you like. However, Discover Scuba Diving has some limitations and disadvantages. It's designed to give you the opportunity to try diving without committing to a full course. Each Discover Scuba Diving experience includes a theoretical introduction, completion of certain exercises, and diving with an instructor or DSD Leader. This also means that Discover Scuba Diving requires more effort from the dive center and is therefore often more expensive than regular diving. Another major drawback is that you can only dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters; this is often insufficient for the truly amazing dive sites. For this reason alone, the PADI Open Water Diver certification is definitely worthwhile. This allows you to dive independently with a dive guide or other certified divers.
